Residents of Fairhope AL neighborhoods enjoy a wonderful list of community parks and recreational facilities along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.  Each has its own personality.  Whether it's fishing, taking a walk, picnicking, swimming, tennis, disc golf, riding bikes skating, swinging, playing ball, walking the dog, smelling the roses, or working out, Fairhope maintains attractive settings to participate

Fairhope AL neighborhoods
Serving as the town square, the iconic Fairhope Municipal Pier and Park reaches 1448 feet out over Mobile Bay.  Folks enjoy sitting, fishing, strolling, boating, picnicking, and laying on the beach.  A lovely rose garden and fountain plus a duck pond add to the relaxing waterfront setting.  The Pier is located on the western end of Fairhope Avenue.

A number of other parks are also situated along the Bay.  For example, Beach Park Tree Trail features approximately 500 species of trees.  Eastern Shore Walking and Bike Trail links to communities throughout Baldwin County.  On the campus of Falkner State Community College, close to Fairhope AL neighborhoods downtown, is the Marietta Johnson Botanical Garden and Tree Trail.

Knoll Park is convenient for neighborhoods near Fairhope Avenue and Magnolia Street.  It is great for spotting birds.  Pink and red azalea bushes seasonally accent the pristine natural environment.  Families enjoy the exotic playgrounds at Fairhope's Community Park.  It is located at Church Street and Morphy Avenue.  Near Fells Avenue and Liberty Street is a toddlers' park with traditional playground equipment.

Fairhope Recreation Center is located on Highway 98 next to Fairhope Municipal Pool.  The Center includes a fitness facility with racquetball courts, a basketball gym, in indoor walking track, a sauna, and more facilities.

Stimpsons Tennis Facility features several lighted tennis courts and a lighted walking track.  It is located at Morphy Avenue and Mershon Street.  A 50-acre sports park with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, disc golf, baseball fields, Dog Park, and Skate Park plus two gymnasiums is located near Greeno Road and Volanta Avenue.

Public boat ramps are located at Magnolia Beach Park at Pier Street and at North Beach Park.
