Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and Fairhope Real Estate

Fairhope real estate benefits from the strong organizational network throughout Coastal Baldwin County. Fairhope is a vibrant seaside community situated in Baldwin County, approximately 20 minutes from Mobile, Alabama. Business owners and entrepreneurs considering relocating to Baldwin County will find the local local Chamber of Commerce a valuable assistance while investigating the possibilities for purchasing or leasing Fairhope real estate or buying a home.

And the Chamber has been in the news. On Friday, November 1, 2013, the former Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce announced the results of its re-branding project. Coastal Alabama Business Chamber is a business-based Association that works to preserve, enhance, and expand the business environment in Coastal Baldwin County. It is supported by its members and powered by its volunteers.

The new name is The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber. This reflects the broader scope of the organization and cements the bonds between businesses located along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay along with Alabama communities situated in along the Gulf of Mexico and inland.

A dedicated group of volunteers researched extensively and utilized techniques of branding. Chamber Pres. & CEO Ed Rodriguez praised the work of the volunteer re-branding committee and its chairman Gary Gilpin. A summary of the branding outcome follows:

“We are an inclusive membership organization focused on supporting the business community and coastal Alabama at large, providing strength and opportunity to our members and progressive leadership to the community. Our goal is to support economic growth and to empower our members with the tools and resources necessary to grow and prosper.”

Members of the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber are entitled to several benefits. Marketing benefits begin with a free listing in Coast Living, the Chamber’s Annual publication. Members receive a free listing on the website and may post events on the chamber’s community calendar. Hot Deals offered through Internet coupons are also available. Members may also gain publicity by sponsoring chamber events.

In addition, members receive free admission to the First Friday Forum, a monthly breakfast. These events address current issues important to businesses. Members also have free admission to Business After Hours. The Chamber sponsors a number of seminars and workshops. Members refer one another and may display brochures and business cards in the lobby of the Chamber offices.

Baldwin County lies between the Mobile Metropolitan Area and the Pensacola, Florida metropolitan area. The population of Baldwin County is approaching 200,000 residents. Retail sales tax total four percent in the State of Alabama and three percent in the county. Approximately 5,000,000 tourists visit Baldwin County annually. They come to Fish and boat, to hike and sightsee, to golf and relax.

Picturesque Fairhope real estate is readily accessible by air. The Mobile Regional Airport, Pensacola Regional Airport, Jack Edwards Airport, and Sally municipal Airport are an easy drive.
