Jubilee Breeze Complement to Daphne AL Real Estate

Relocate to Eastern Shore Mobile real estate in Daphne Alabama and be pleasantly surprised by high-quality community initiatives such as the magazine “The Jubilee Breeze.” The biannual publication is sponsored by the City of Daphne and is a great resource for new and old residents of homes in Daphne.

“The Jubilee Breeze” introduces city employees and councilmembers and committees such as Community Development and the Lake Forest Improvement Committee. Residents of Daphne homes and the business community are invited to visit their offices, attend city events, and to get involved in initiatives that will “Move Forward” the community. After all, Daphne is a great place to work, live, and play and it is community participation makes it better every day.

The latest issue honored many area residents for their accomplishments. It was a tribute to a local fire fighter and honors for the Civilian of the Quarter and Officer of the Quarter. Newcomers can meet a lot of people by checking out pictures of the decorating of the City Hall Christmas tree, and the tech students who welded the sculpture of an alligator for Gator Alley at the Boardwalk. A longleaf pine/Southern yellow pine located on private property in Daphne was recognized as an Alabama State Champion Tree, one of the largest living trees of its species.

Within the Winter/Spring 2013 it issue of the 36-page resource, newcomers are introduced to a series of events, including The Wet n’ Wild Wednesdays, Brown Bag by The Bay, Sunset Series, Art in the Park, Arbor Day Tree Give Away, and the Easter Egg Hunt. There is information on the Bayfront Pavilion and events at the Civic Center.

Daphne Recreation Department highlighted a series of excellent courses offered to the Daphne community. Kula Yoga Class, Hard Body Exercise, Yoga – Strengthening Seniors, and Sotokan Karate were offered. There were courses in dance, modeling, and social etiquette and table manners. Residents could also learn the Art of Professional Make-Up Application.

The Jubilee Breeze provides information about a variety of winter spring and summer athletic programs available for adults and children. Helpful articles on travel safety, Corporate Friends of SEEDS helping schools in Daphne, and activities of the Daphne Senior Center. This issue also includes information for licensing pets, ways to volunteer at the animal shelter, and notices about programs at the library.
